    Mice Paradeマイス・パレード

    NYのポスト・ロック・バンド、ディラン・グループのメンバーだったアダム・ピアース（dr）のソロ・ユニット。ポスト・ロック／エレクトロニカ／ジャズ／ワールド・ミュージックなど、あらゆる音楽要素を取り込み、独自の感性で再構築したかのような才気ほとばしる作風で人気を集める。
    98年にアルバム第１作『The True Meaning of Boodleybaye』をリリース。以降、１〜２年に１枚のペースで、自身が主催するレーベル＜バブル・コア＞や＜ファットキャット・レコーズ＞からアルバムを発表し続けている。初期はドラマーのユニットらしく、インストゥルメンタル主体のサウンドだったが、徐々にポップ・ミュージックの領域へと変化。クリスティーン・ヴァルティースドッティ（ムーム）、レティシア（ステレオラブ）、原田郁子（クラムボン）といったヴォーカリスト達のゲスト参加による、奇妙でありながらも美しいポップ・ミュージックを創り出している。そこには果てしなく自由な気風が感じられる。
